Last weekend I visited one of my favourite museums again, the Musée d'Ixelles. Relatively small and a bit hidden away it makes for a brilliant 1-2 hour visit. Come check it out!
This is the exposition I liked most this time. "Outings project", which was started by the French artist and photographer Julien de Casabianca in 2014. He invited museum visitors to take a picture of one of the persons in the paintings, print it out in colour, cut it out and stick it on a walk somewhere in the city. Apparently about 200 people all over the world followed his call and so now the streets of Ixelles, thanks to some teenagers and some seniors, join the ranks of those places. The exhibition shows examples from all over the world but if you want to see examples from Brussels just put in Outings Project here on Facebook. On display in the museum until April 10th. Wonderful!!
