Join us for a guided tour in the temporary exhibition "Imagine" at Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels. For one hour we will learn about Surrealism, look at works by Salvador Dalí, Giorgio De Chirico, Jackson Pollock and Joan Miró. This is what the museum writes about this exhibition: "The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium are inaugurating IMAGINE!, an extraordinary international touring exhibition conceived in close collaboration with the Centre Pompidou (Paris). Each partner museum houses the core of the travelling exhibition and enriches it by emphasising its own heritage. In Brussels, the RMFAB will explore surrealism from a symbolist perspective, through more than 130 works of art (paintings, works on paper, sculptures, objects, assemblages, and photographs). IMAGINE! focuses on the connections and similarities, but also the fracture lines between surrealism and symbolism, one of its precursors." After the event we will go for a drink to talk about our experiences and impressions. Obviously this second part is optional so please don't worry about it if you are not able to join us. Price: 30€ (CAREFUL, the museum has not announced the ticket prices for this exhibition yet so they might be a bit cheaper or a bit more expensive; in this calculation the guided tour is included and a ticket price of 15€ is assumend)
You will lose the prepayment if you are no longer able to join us. However, it is always possible to give your spot to a friend or colleague. In this case please inform Art for Everyone of the change as soon as possible.
